He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Clifford and Delois Barnes Keener; his wife Diane Gayle Moore Keener; and his siblings, Mary Alifaye Buckins, Alfred Keener, Bobby William Keener and David Richard Keener.
He is survived by: his sons, Carl Massey (Ute) of Brunswick, Fred Massey (Susie) of Blackshear and Sam Head of Blackshear; his siblings, Nellie Kay Brooker of Birmingham, AL, Dorothy Lou Anderson of Indianapolis, IN and Curtis Clinton Keener of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Ashley Barry (Michael), Joe Prince (Destiny), Amber Massey, Brandon Purdom (Skyy), Bryan Purdom and Abbie Head; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn Barry, Amara Barry, Ely Barry, Elizabeth Prince, James Prince, Conner Prince, Remi Purdom and Asher Purdom. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
