With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julie Norton of Blackshear, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2026 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Sarment and Estelle Burch Stubbs; and her siblings, Walter Stubbs, Randy Stubbs, Harvey Stubbs, Mary Stubbs, Linda Palmer and Becky Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Donnie Jones of Blackshear; her stepdaughter Connie Strickland (Robbie) of Blackshear; her stepgrandchildren, Jessica Warner (Christopher), Jennifer Taylor (Howell), Mary Alumbaugh (Dale), Gary Diangelo (Ashley) and Janet Walker (Dalton); and her siblings, Glen Stubbs (Brenda), Jan Nobles, Shirley Coch and Jennie Weber (Robert). She is also survived by thirteen step-great grandchildren.
