She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Dowling and Mittie Dowling; her spouse J. Flois Crews; and her siblings, Randall Dowling, Robert Dowling, Tom Dowling, Leroy Thrift, Maggie Bohannon, Louise Mitchell, Jeanice Lynn and Estelle Dinkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice; her son-in-law Kenny Dasher of Blackshear; her sisters, Kathryn Altman of Hoboken, Latrelle Kozar of Little Rock, AR and Sybil Muise of Waycross; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jones (Ryan), Alan Dasher, Amber Landry (Steve), Ellen Herrin (Kolby) and Thomas Lee; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Nathan, Katie Jane Jones, Selah, Luke, Alex, James Landry, Karder and Kamden Herrin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home (659 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the High Bluff Cemetery.
