He was predeceased by : his parents, J. Charlie Waters and Mildred Durrence Waters; his wife Yvonne Mullis Waters; his son Larry C. Waters, Jr.; his sister Mary Jo Waters Sikes; and his in-laws, N. J. and Magdalene Mullis.

He is survived by : his daughter Laurie; his son-in-law Terry Beam of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Payton Marie Beam of Blackshear, Mary Jo Brennen Beam of Blackshear and T. W. Beam (Toni) of Calera, AL; his great grandchildren, Terryson and Truett Beam; his siblings, Lou Ann Carter of Blackshear and Dr. Donald; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Waters of Blackshear, Shelba Bowen of Alma and Jeffrey Mullis (Joey) of Alma. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
