She was predeceased by: her parents, Tazwell Cross and Margaret O'Brien Cross; her husband Layman Lynn Ware, Sr.; her daughter Crystal Dawn Ware; and her siblings, Madeline Wilfong and Leon Cross.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Ware of Zephyrhills, FL, Layman Ware of Belington, W. V., Tonda Ware of Philippi, WV and Jody Ware of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Rachel Ware, Amanda Ware, Daniel Haller, Isaac Haller, Cecilia Hernandez and Lyla Hernandez; and her sisters, Shirley Payne and Barbara Spencer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
