It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Limon Melton of Blackshear, Georgia, who passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lamar Melton and Betty Durrance Herrin; and his wife Elwanda Sloan Melton. He is survived by: his children, Jackie Parker (Kevin Owens) of Waycross, Erin Mincey (Greg) of Offerman, Scarlet Shider (Moses) of Blackshear and Kenneth Parker of Waycross; his siblings, Wanda Wilkinson of Blackshear, Kathy Lowmon (Morgan) of Blackshear, Ricky Melton (Eris) of Blackshear and Danny Melton (Tammy) of Nahunta; and his grandchildren, Ashley Mincey, Greg Mincey, Jr., Layla Melton and Mariah Mincey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church, 670 E. Main St., Blackshear, GA 31516.
