With solemn reverence, we commemorate Linton Wilton Banks of Blackshear, Georgia, whose life came to an end on October 1, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Clinton and Sylvia Gertrude Batten Banks; his great grandchild Logan Branson; and his siblings, Thomas Banks, Christine Britt, Pauline Kimbrell and Latrelle Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindi Crawford (Edwin) of Dixie Union, Donna Melton (Tommy) of Blackshear and Karen Carter of Blackshear; and his grandchildren, Chris O'Neal (Nealie), Dustin O'Neal (Meg), Jamie Justice (Bethany), Kyle Melton (Robyn), Brandy Russell (Julian), Amber Burney, Ashley Taylor and Kellyn Williams (Dustin). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home (210 Johnson St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel (210 Johnson St, Blackshear, GA 31516).
