She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Columbus and Addie James Tuten; her husband James Nelson "Jimmy" Wood, III; her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Delana Wood; and her siblings, Eva Kate Dixon, Latrelle Moore, Doris Stuckey, Waunell Jordan, Randall, Chris and Gene Tuten.
She is survived by: her daughter Kristie; her son-in-law Rob Dobbins of Woodbine; her son Jim; her daughter-in-law Jean Wood of Waycross; her sister Gerry Tuten Moody of St. Simons Island; her grandchildren, James Wood, Ashlee Lott (Jared), Stefan Wood (Keshia) and Hilla Brucker; and her great grandchildren, Bryson Lott, Brantley Lott, Reese Wood, Rayna Wood, Zoey Wood and Allie Wood. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
The family will also be honoring Mrs. Wood's late husband, Jimmy, during this time, too, since he passed during the COVID pandemic on March 16, 2020.
