He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Idas E. Smith and Eulalia Carter Smith. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Smith of Blackshear; his children, Deborah Smith Cravey (Timmy) of Waycross and Dane Smith (Stacie) of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Ashlee Ann Golden (Bobby), Andy Cravey (Chelsea), Mary Beth Dixon (Skyler) and Madi Smith; and his brother Rayvon Smith of Waycross.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hart Funeral Home (210 Johnson St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel (210 Johnson St, Blackshear, GA 31516).
