Rachel Dyson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Dyson of Blackshear, Georgia, who passed away on May 27, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Clarence Dyal and Mary Sallie Hamilton Dyal; her siblings, Dorothy Stone, Rita Jean Dyal Herrin and Ronnie Dyal; and her children, Angela Dyson and Michael Dyson.

She is survived by: her daughter Daine; her grandsons, Michael Ellis of Atlanta, Cody Ellis of Blackshear and Tommy Lee; her great grandchildren, Miles and Aiden Ellis; her daughter Rachel Diane Ellis; her siblings, Catherine Chaney (Ed) of Blackshear, Clarice Stolte (Jack) of Manor, Faye Davis (Charles) of Blackshear, Carroll Dyal (Donna) of Sandstone, VA and Mary Strickland (Freddy) of Blackshear; and her sister-in-law Lisa Dyal of Blackshear. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
