With sadness, we share the passing of Reta Devlin of Blackshear, Georgia. Reta, born on January 31, 1959 in Waycross, Georgia, passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Reta for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Pearson and Ruth Varnadore Pearson; her husband William Varnum Devlin; and her siblings, Arlene Pearson and Ray Pearson.
She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Devlin of Blackshear and Joseph Eldrin Devlin (Jacqueline) of Coos Bay, OR; and her grandchildren, Richie Crews, Eva Durham and Raymond Durham. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home (659 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pearson-Dial Chapel (659 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516).
