He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. McCammon and Caleen A. Schmidt McCammon; and his brothers, Larry Lee McCammon and Robert Eugene McCammon. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Awmiller McCammon of Blackshear; his children, Nicole Sweat (Jeromy) of Blackshear, Scott McCammon of Kansas City, KS, Curtis McCammon of Waverly, KS, Christopher McCammon (Haily) of Elkhart, KS, Robert Phillips (Carrie) of Nahunta and Adam Phillips of Nahunta; and his sisters, Martha Grimsley of Adrian, MO, Effie Long of Olathe, KS and Linda McCammon of Amoret, MO. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren due soon; and several nieces, nephews.
