She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Shoemaker and Victoria Shoemaker; and her brother Paul Shoemaker. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Piestrak of Blackshear; her children, Kristie-Jill Shmidt of Waycross, Lynda Bruckbauer of Kalamazoo and Russ DeWitt of Waycross; and her grandchildren, Matt Howard, Jack Bruckbauer, Richard J. DeWitt, Elaina Rojas, Danny Boettner, Madison DeWitt and Emma Boettner. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
