He was predeceased by : his parents, David Hugh and Sarah Verdell Winn Walker, Sr.; his brother David Hugh Walker, Jr.; and his father-in-law Robert Buie, Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Gail Buie Walker of Blackshear; his children, Lealane (Brian Sanders), Hannah (Kelly Murray), Cassie (Nick Berkemeier), Quincy (Chase Burgess) and Samuel Dea "Sam" Walker, Jr. of Waycross; his sister Connie Quarnaccio (Mike) of Wyoming, DE; his mother-in-law Quen Buie of Blackshear; his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Dowling of Blackshear and Bobby Buie (Kay) of Waycross; his grandchildren, Ava Murray, Olivia Sanders, Claire Murray, Owen Sanders, Julianna Murray, James Berkemeier, John Daniel Berkemeier, Maren Burgess and Quill Burgess; and his nieces and nephews, Thomas Dowling, Jessica Clark (Chris), Hunter Buie, Bailey James (Blake), Pam Cook (Matt), David Quarnaccio (Leslie) and Franklin Boyett.
