He is survived by: his wife Susan Ruger; his former wife Dawn Ruger of Waycross; his children, Misty Ruger (Ashley) of Eastman, Stephanie Head of Waycross and Will Ruger of Waycross; his grandchildren, Callie Rostro (Michael), Kaitie Lee, Zach Morgan, Sydnee Morgan, Allison Mullis, Steve "Buddy" Ruger, Libby Ruger (Sam Bennett), Cammy Ruger and Mason Ruger; his great grandchildren, J. J., Kameron, Kayne, Huck and Kai; and his siblings, Arthur Ruger (Susie), Jean Howard (Danny), Clara Bell Dyson and Linda Sims. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
