He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Martin and Etta Lovingood Martin; and his wife Carol Kittle Martin. He is survived by: his children, John E. Martin, Lesa (Daniel Byrd) and Kim (Alan Bridges); his sisters, Margie Shook of Canton, NC. and Irene (Dicky Stinnett); and his grandchildren, Kristen, Katrina, Jessica, Chelsea, Caylin, Mekiah, Jake and Joanna.
