He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lewis and Allie Mae Odom Turnage of Desser. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Dyer Turnage of Choestoe; and his children, Karen Turnage Merrill of San Diego and Andrew Lewis Turnage of Blairsville.
