He is survived by: his wife Melissa Bryson Whitaker of Blairsville; his siblings, Scott Whitaker of Coco Beach, FL. and Patricia Vallies of Blairsville; his grandchildren, Emma Wilder and Thorin Wilder; his siblings' children, Rachel Vallies (Jerimiah Underwood), Lee Vallies, Bobbie Sue Vallies (Rafael), Cole Whitaker (Katie), Marina Whitaker, Christopher Whitaker and Marissa; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lexi Brown, Stephen Vallies (Morgan), Jayce Underwood, Savannah Vallies and Bittie Bittie.
