He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Loya and Marie Cignarale Loya; and his sister Rosemary Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Stultz Loya of Blairsville; his daughters, Michelle (Amed Troche) and Tanya (Keith Pertschi); his brothers, Robert Loya and Mico Loya; his grandsons, Anthony, Michael, Joshua and Jeremiah; and his great grandchildren, Mila, Lena, Liam, Sophia, Grayson and Miles.
