With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frankie Lamanac of Blairsville, Georgia, born in Marietta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2025 at the age of 73. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Frankie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his son Franklin Lamanac, Jr.; his parents, Hugh Lee and Sarah Lamanac; and his brother Ray Lamanac. He is survived by: his close friend Marie Cook; his children, Wesley Lamanac (Sylvia), Candice Isabell (Johnny), James Cook (Holly) and Molly Sosebee (Terry); his brother Philip Lamanac; and his sister-in-law Helen Lamanac. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
