In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gloria Ann had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Gloria Ann may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Copley and Frances Cook Copley; and her son Carl M. Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Carl Watson Johnson of Blairsville; her daughter Deborah; her son-in-law Gary Cumby of St. Simonds Island, GA; her son David; and her daughter-in-law Kat Johnson of Suches, GA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and dear friends.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to the Union County Humane Society Mountain Shelter in Gloria's honor—reflecting her lifelong love for caring for others, both people and animals.
