The memory of Hazel Jean Buchanan of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on December 2, 2025 at the age of 69, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Young and Louise Timms Young; her husband Randall Dewey Buchanan; and her brothers, Elmer, Delmer and Ralph Young.
She is survived by: her son Adrian; her daughter-in-law Sabrina Buchanan of Blairsville; her daughter Carmen Buchanan; her son-in-law Kevin Shaw of Ball Ground, GA.; her sisters, Barbara Turner of Hinton, GA., Patricia Padgett of Ranger, GA. and Imajean Young of Ranger; her grandchildren, Adrian, Jessie, Ariana Buchanan, Kamren Daniels, Skyler, Waylon Ford, Khristopher Trackwell, Krista Young and Ryan Shaw; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Christina Buchanan and Raven Young.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
