Jack Richard Thompson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Richard Thompson (Blairsville, Georgia), who passed away on May 6, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lee Thompson and Daisy Marie Gertrude Thompson; and his daughter Deborah Kaye Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Laspee Thompson; his daughter Dianne Flanagan; his grandchildren, Jason Griffin, Sara Flanagan, Brooke Flanagan, Justin Flanagan and Kyle Flanagan; and his great grandchildren, Jax Williams, Annabella Flanagan, Tyler Flanagan, Derrick Flanagan and Kaden Flanagan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's memory to Union County Volunteer Fire Department.
