James Allison Obituary

The family announces the passing of James Allison of Blairsville, Georgia on September 18, 2026. James, born on October 29, 1965 in Gainesville, Georgia, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. James will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor James by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though James is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. James’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Pierson and Riley; his parents, Jim Allison and Mary Allison; and his siblings, Amy Harper (Matt) and Daryl Allison (Rachel). He is also survived by extended family members, lifelong friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Union County Fine Arts Center (926 Panther Overlook, Blairsville, GA 30512). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St Jude Cancer Research in his name.
