She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Collins and Ouva Brackett Collins; her former husband Roland Barnes Jr.; her husband Orpheus E. "Corky" Deaver; her son Danny Barnes; her granddaughter Alison Stansel; her brothers, Gerald Collins and Rev. Harry Collins; and her sons-in-law, Paul Goad and Tommy Patterson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Patterson (Phillip McGlamery) of Blairsville, Cathy Doster (David) of Elberton and Cindy Goad (Edward Ryniec) of Mt. Juliet, TN.; her daughter-in-law Kay Barnes of Blue Ridge; her brother Ronnie Collins of Auburn, GA.; her sisters-in-law, Gail Collins of Auburn, GA. and Rosemary Collins of Wadley, AL.; her grandson Samuel Stansel (Kristin Anderson); and her caregivers, Dottie Corcoran and Judy Burch.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512).
Flowers are accepted or if you wish the family requests donations may be made to a favorite charity of your choice in memory of Mrs. Deaver.
