He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Roscoe Brinton Jr. and Virginia Ford Brinton; and his grandson Brett Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Judy Wood Brinton of Blairsville; his children, Ted Brinton Debbie (Barry) of Bradenton, FL., Tammy Sanders (Ike) of Bradenton, FL., Steven Tibbs (Stacie) of Perry, GA., Jennifer Potts (Jeff) of Blairsville and Ray Tibbs (Heather) of Blairsville; his sister Llani Wood of McAlpin, FL.; and his grandchildren, Austin Wagner (Catherine), Nicole Wagner, Terron Sanders (Ashley), Trai Sanders, James Sanders, Corrine Sanders, Kevin Potts (Sarah), Zach Potts (Lauren), Justin Potts, Ben Potts and Jaylyn Tibbs.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512).
