With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margorie Meeks Gilroy of Blairsville, Georgia, born in Gonzales, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2026 at the age of 92. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Margorie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Lisa Adams of Blairsville. She is survived by: her husband Monty Gilroy of Blairsville; her son-in-law Jay Adams of Atlanta; her stepdaughter Brittany Dougherty of Blairsville; her granddaughter Izabella Dougherty; and her close friends, Terry, Paula Hooper, Judy and Greg Odom.
