He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Cason and Nellie Jane Kight Cason; his children, Annette Cason and Steven Cason; and his siblings, Jean Bennett, Katie Kight, Rebecca Cason, Myrtle Douglas, Raymond Cason and Danny Cason.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Cason; his children, Kylee Burns (Michael) of Hahira, GA and Buddy Cason (Sheri) of Cumming, GA; and his siblings, Verna Thomas of Valdosta, GA, Latrelle Wrye of Lakeland, GA and Ronnie Cason (Faye) of Manor, GA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services (3831 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
