He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Townson and Hazel Ledford Townson; and his brothers, Troy, L. J. and Obra Townson.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Townson of Southgate, MI., Tim Townson of Southgate, MI. and Deborah; his son-in-law R. J. Passager of Redford, MI.; and his grandsons, Ian and Josh.
