Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Barney Edward Brownlee Sr. of Blakely, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 84, on April 11, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Mark Standifer Brownlee, Sr. and Stella White Brownlee; and his brother Mark Standifer Brownlee, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Patricia Brownlee; his sons, Edward Brownlee, Jr. (Wendy) of Blakely and Michael Brownlee of Blakely; his grandchildren, Scott Brownlee (Dana) of Alpharetta, Trey Brownlee (Haley) and Kyndall Brownlee of Blakely; and his sisters, Mary Getten of Santa Ana, Francis Harper of Warner Robins and Annette Cato of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home Chapel (21802 Lucile Rd, Blakely, GA 39823). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Westview Methodist Church (82 Westview Dr, Blakely, GA 39823).
