He is survived by: his children, Susan Renee Wilson Casey (Kevin) of Albany, GA, David Wallace Wilson, Jr. of Pike Road, AL and Monica Shaye Wilson Downey (Angel Quiles) of Cape Coral, FL.; his grandchildren, Olivia Grace Wilson, David Wallace Wilson, III (Elizabeth), Matthew Hamilton Downey, Michael Ethan Downey and Madisson Renee Casey; and his son Mark Lyles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home (21802 Lucile Rd, Blakely, GA 39823). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
