With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deena Blankenship Riley of Blakely, Georgia, born in Abbeville, Alabama, who passed away on April 10, 2026 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvette Blankenship and Geraldine Brockman; and her sister-in-law Diane Blankenship. She is survived by: her sons, James Cheek (Terra) of Blakely, GA and Josh Cheek (Brittany) of Enterprise, AL.; her grandchildren, James Cheek, Jr., Arabella Cheek, Swayze Gordon, Jadelynn Cheek, Tobias Cheek, Kaelee Cheek, Bailee Cheek, Korlee Cheek and Tyrlee Cheek; and her siblings, Ricky Blankenship (Kathy), Robin Blankenship and Ryan Blankenship (Mary). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
