With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Lehmon Winkler Sr. of Blakely, Georgia, born in Orlando, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie L Winkler and Mary LouNell Winkler; his aunt Rene; his uncle Curt McCorkle; and his brother Charles Glenn Winkler.
He is survived by: his wife June Sims Winkler; his children, Rebecca June Winkler of Cobb, GA, Susan Carole Winkler Peacock (Ron) of Americus, GA and Jack Lehmon Winkler, Jr. (Margaret) of Blakely, GA.; his grandchildren, Mary Beth Peacock of Americus, GA, Curtis Peacock (Aimee) of Americus, GA, Will Winkler (Arianna) of Blakely, GA., Austin Winkler of Blakely, GA. and Andrew Winkler of Blakely, GA.; his great grandchildren, JB Greene, Cutter Greene, Cash Greene, Tyler Peacock and Charleigh Peacock; and his friend Chad Chapman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blakely Church of Christ (2151 S Main St, Blakely, GA 39823). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
