With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janis Barrentine Still of Blakely, Georgia, who passed away on October 14, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Pete Barrentine and Avadell Branch Barrentine; and her husband John Millard Still. She is survived by : her daughters, Stephanie Still Whitehead (James G. Whitehead), Melanie Still Alexander (Mickey W. Alexander) and Teresa Still Hattaway (James F. Hattaway); her grandchildren, Michael Conner, Jennifer W. Thompson, Wes Fincher, Caroline W. Herrington, Kendall A. Alderman, Jamie W. Cox, Ali F. Moseley and John Alexander; and her great grandchildren, Mac Cox, Zac Alderman, Olin Thompson, Lanie Conner, Wyc Herrington, Reid Conner, Libba Cox, Cade Alderman, James Thompson, Lucy Herrington, Gatlin Moseley and Ruby Moseley.
