He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Talley and Viola Talley; and his siblings, Ella Munizza, Malcolm Talley, Delton Talley and Myrl Talley.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Farmer Talley; his children, Gina Talley Holman of Blakely, GA, Nick Talley (Joan) of Newnan, GA and Reid Talley (Melissa) of Danville, KY.; his grandchildren, Talley Holman, Phillip Holman, Elizabeth Danbury, Kathleen Peavy, Meg Talley, Will Talley, Laeah O'Barr, Alyssa Ringwood, Ashley MacDonell and Nicholas Campbell; and his siblings, Edwin Miller of Bogalusa, LA and Hollis Talley of Mississippi. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home (21802 Lucile Rd, Blakely, GA 39823). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
