In the vast expanse of eternity, Martha Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Martha Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her mother Laura Frances Carter Sims; her husband Judge Lowrey S. Stone; her father Herbert Sims; and her siblings, Herbert Edge Sims and LeMay Sims Merritt.

She is survived by: her children, William Sims Stone of Blakely, Dr John Lowrey Stone (Marie) of Simpsonville, SC and Nancy Stone Brown (Robert) of Blakely. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or The American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org) are requested.

Roller skate and do a lot of fun things together. As Ann was st much add good teacher, that when I started first grade you wouLd have thought I hadbeen toKindergartin.
