With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Sims (Blakely, Georgia), born in Chatham, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 24, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Edge Sims; her parents, Roy Haile Pickeral and Leona Pickeral; her daughter Cynthia Ruth Sims; and her siblings, Clifton Pickeral and Haile Pickeral.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Enfinger (Johnny) of Blakely, GA, Janet Sims of Cordele, GA and Gary Sims of Blakely, GA; her grandchildren, Neil Enfinger (Casidy), Amy Tucker (Jaa), Adam Sims and Chase Sims; her great grandchildren, Owen Enfinger, Brody Enfinger, Payton Tucker, Kacen Sims, Cooper Sims and Cameron Sims; and her sister-in-law Barbara Pickeral of Danville, VA..
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blakely Cemetery (751 Chattahoochee Ave, Blakely, GA 39823).
