He was predeceased by : his father W. A. Wright; and his siblings, Fonnie Powell, Irma Dean Humphrey, David Wright and William Wright, Jr..
He is survived by : his sons, Michael Wright and Gene Wright, Jr.; and his siblings, Mary Johnson, Jackie Parker, Darlene Dennison, Jerry Wright and James Wright. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
