She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Heckel and Pearly Heckel; her husband Harold L. Gray, Sr.; and her granddaughters, Amber and Beth Mosley.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Gray, Jr. of Uvalda, John A. Gray of Metter, Alton Gray (Denise) of Register, Marilyn Lovett (Mike) of Twin City and Lisa Edge of Savannah; and her sister Betty Sue McGahee of Vidalia. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home (667 S Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel (667 S Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
