It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Lee Powell of Blue Ridge, Georgia, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Powell and Patricia Hargett Powell; his sister Patti Powell; and his pet Cleo. He is survived by: his wife Ginny Powell; his brothers, Buddy Powell (Stacy) and Bill Powell (Emily); his sisters-in-law, Amy McCoy (Gerry Melton), Teresa Queen (David) and Lisa Barker (Joe); his close friend Adam Waters; and his pet Molly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and also great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Epworth United Methodist Church (585 Madola Rd, Epworth, GA 30541). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions in Mr. Powell's memory may be made to the Epworth Cemetery Fund or the Epworth Methodist Alter Guild at P.O. Box 123 Epworth, GA 30541.
