“Wes and I are going to miss Carolyn. Over the past 12 years or so, she became one of our dear friends, and she told us many stories of her childhood and eventful life. Wes used to tell her she needed to write a book! She would laugh at that suggestion. One thing she made perfectly clear to us, over and over, was how much she loved her family and how much she loved the church. Even in her suffering, those two were priorities. Our lives were enriched by her.”
