He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Watkins and Edna Long Hunter; his wife Ola Dills Watkins; and his siblings, Joel Watkins, Winston Watkins, Alline Anderson and Jean Kendall.
He is survived by: his daughter Lori Beavers (Jeff); his grandchildren, Sophia, Carson (Madeline) and Adeline Beavers; and his close friend Jeff Dean.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harmony Baptist Church (4407 Old Hwy 76, Blue Ridge, GA 30513).
