She is survived by: her husband Bob Nerthling; her children, Sheila King Carver (Randy), Brenda King Harper, Suzanne King, James King (Linda) and David King (Sandra); and her sister Martha Voiter. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
