She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clarence Lowery and Iola "Odie" Stephens Lowery; her husband Lamer Watkins; and her siblings, Mark Lowery, Dollie Stepp, Dorothy Collins, Mary Long and Joanna McKigney.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Stewart (Mark), Michael "Mike" Watkins (Theresa) and Randall "Randy" Watkins (Gail); and her grandchildren, Donna Gilliam, Aaron Sellers, Laura Oakley, Dewayne Watkins and Jeremy Watkins. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
