It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Petty of Blue Ridge, Georgia, born in Swepsonville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gayther Vincent and Alberta Vincent; her son Paul Petty; her husband Frank Petty; and her siblings, Albert, Alton Vincent, Alice and Agnes.
She is survived by: her son Larry Petty (Cyrilla); her sisters, Peggy Bradburn and Wilma Norris; her grandchildren, Allison Mallory (Bo), Kyle Petty and Diana Scott; and her great grandchildren, Ava and Ruby Mallory.
