She is survived by: her daughter Katherine; her son-in-law Ron Emslie; her grandchildren, Michelle Harper, Regina McKinnish, Paul Cantrell, Scarlett Smith and Justin Emslie; her great grandchildren, Trey Beckett, Jessie Logan, Perrin Farren, Camille Cantrell, Joseph Smith, Jason Smith, Alexander Emslie and Allison Emslie; and her brother-in-law Herbert Newton.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel (7871 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
