She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Allen Price and Maude Sikes Price; her son Joseph Raymond May Jr.; and her husband Rev. Joseph Raymond May Sr.. She is survived by : her daughter Deborah; her son-in-law Timothy Strawn; her daughters, Nancy May Matunde and Janice May; and her grandchildren, Shannon May-Wheeler, Shawn Wheeler, Joshua, Jessica Strawn, A. Joseph May and Silhouette Jarmon-Gigetts. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
