He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart George and Oveta Greene George. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Greene; his children, Anthony Greene, Tabitha Taylor, Chrysta Freeman, Kayla Greene, Kelsey Greene, Derek Ramsey, Thrice Ferguson, Skyler Crane and Madison Deal; his grandchildren, Dante Freeman, Hadley Taylor, Sophia Crosby, Kyson Crosby, Kade Crosby, Elena Crosby, Marshall Crosby and Rowan Hogsed; his brother Mark Greene; his sister-in-law Gretchen Greene; his niece Maggie Deatherage; his nephew Jason Greene; his aunt Virginia Shannon; his brother-in-law Robert Ramsey; and his nieces and nephews, Xander Ramsey and Ava Ramsey. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge (3911 Appalachian Hwy, Blue Ridge, GA 30513).
