She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Floyd" Tipton and Nellie Tipton; her husband Thomas "Clyde" Dilbeck; and her siblings, Clyde Tipton, Clarence Tipton, Grace Taylor, Claude Tipton and Edna Tipton.
She is survived by: her son Steven "Todd" Dilbeck; her daughter-in-law Carol; her sons, Rev. Gerald Mathis (Rita) and Tom Merkert; her grandson Aaron Martin (Dawn); her great grandchild Logan Martin; her close friend Gill Farmer; and her niece Vivian Mathis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel (7871 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery (663 Damascus Rd, Blue Ridge, GA 30513).
