She was predeceased by : her parents, Wayne Patterson and Ellen Smith Patterson; her former life partner James Caylor; and her husband James Brown. She is survived by : her children, Scott Caylor (Racheal) of Copperhill, TN, Tracy Byers of Culberson, NC and Kimberly Caylor of McCaysville, GA; her grandchildren, James Caylor, John Caylor (Lacie), Angel Stroup (Andrew), Kristin Byers and Derek Fontnot; her great grandchildren, Aaron Caylor, Natalie Caylor, James Caylor, Sofia Caylor, Anna Stroup and Walker Stroup; and her sister Elizabeth McDonald of Marble, NC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
